OT: Cronin ejects his own player

I think Cronin would be gone already if it weren't for his very large buyout. He hates his team and constantly blames the players. No accountability. The fans are tired of him. Even MSU fans think the foul wasn't too bad. He is being lambasted all over social media today. My bet is he is a short-timer.

I cannot believe there are fans of college basketball who dislike Hurley more than this guy. I completely understand how Hurley can rub the pearl-clutchers of the world the wrong way (though I often disagree), but to me, Cronin is the epitome of insufferable.

He embodies that entire fanbase. It would be bedlam every time someone goes to that arena. Stubborn moxy. He needs a basketball-first regional conference.

Hurley also wins that ups the hate more than anything. You can be a jerk and lose and people won’t pay attention but when you win they have to take notice

I don't know why but for some reason I just enjoy and find incredibly funny his outbursts. He loved the "rock fights" of the bid east and referred to them as such when playing Connecticut. The skinhead bantam leprechaun rides again. And yes, you can always come home!

Mick at PC would be epic. I might want to stay in the Big East just to watch the show. Crazy, whining coach (l like him btw), rowdy fanbase, tough city full of Irishmen and Italians that never cease to have an opinion and all of it taking place in Big Brother's backyard. It could be so good.

Cronin is tool bag and will not be much longer for the UCLA job. You do not shame a player like that. PC did not due it to play and player who did much worse.

after reading these personal accounts from Jamerson's HS coaches, last night's interaction did come off as Cronin going after a player who he knew wouldn't buck back at him

20M+ reasons why he’s probably going to be there for a while. He is a true embarrassment though and thinking he would be anything but a disaster in the LA media market was laughable from the start.
 
I mean that looks like a "normal" play, not like the nugget from PC who should have gotten tossed.

It wasn’t even a hard foul in fact Gaffney probably would have called an offensive foul on us.

Feel bad for the kid, he didn’t deserve getting kicked off the bench for that. It was a good hustle play getting back and stopped MSU from going up 29…

The “are you raising your voice to me?” was the interview equivalent of what he had just done to Jameson in the game. Totally unwarranted attempt to take out his own frustrations by embarrassing someone who can’t really fight back due to the big power imbalance. What a child.
 
UCLA only has 1 final four appearance in the past 17 years and it was with Mick at the helm.
