OT- Crazy 24 hours for Clippers

With the news of Steph Curry being out for at least 2 weeks it was looking like the Clippers would be the favorites to get to the western conference finals. Just hours later the Clippers play and lose Chris Paul and Blake Griffin for the entire playoffs. I want a Warriors Spurs matchup but hate seeing it play out like this. Just a cruel 24 hours for the Clippers and their fans.

Its clearly way crueler for GSW. LAC is unlucky that they weren't given the opportunity to benefit from a better teams misfortune.

Feel bad for cp3. Great pg who is running out of chances to make a run in the playoffs, and sounds like the clippers were getting ready to restructure the team next year.

Wonder if he tries to go ring chasing with a big 3 type situation somewhere soon before he hangs em up

I don't know about that. Losing two all-NBA guys in one game is about as bad as it gets. At least Steph has a chance to get back.

As a basketball fan, it sucks. Warriors/Clippers would have been a lot of fun. Now you really just have Thunder/Spurs as a compelling match-up in the semis with what an atrocity the east is.

Hmmm. Interesting perspective. He must have a disdain for divinity by now. Man had to suffer being on the New Orleans/Oklahoma City/but Charlotte Hornets for a while, too.

He's even become more bitter in his State Farms commercials.

It definitely sucks for them. But now they will exit a round earlier. Not a legit contender IMO.
