My brother who is 50 now got a 1500 back in the day (800 on math and 700 on verbal) the first and only time he took the test. His score was so uncommon he was advised not to take it again for fear he would get a perfect score. That was a ridiculously high score back then and got him into the Ivy League schools he applied to without him ever really applying himself in school or doing any extracurriculars.
