Jen Rizzotti coaches her valiant George Washington University team Wednesday night Dec 7 2016 at American University, in Washington, DC. GW seemed overmatched by a much bigger, heftier AU team and lost 66-61. Fought all the way. Jen taught all the way. Photo taken from my $5 seat, one row from the bench.

Hope Jen can be successful there. It would be a great launching pad if someone were to retire in, say, 8-10 years elsewhere....

This is the same arena where the retired Red Auerbach used to go to watch every men's game.

GW was a heavy favorite in this game, playing a mediocre American team picked for 5th or 6th in the Patriot League. Three of American's five starters are 5-8 or shorter. Center is 6-3. GW can't be happy losing that game.

Wow, I thought they won... didn't pay attention to the poster comments, was more focused on the launching pad comment that followed.
