I myself am a big supporter of imports, have been since before the first fast and the furious. I own a 92 civic with a b16 engine swap (first ever produced engine to generate 100hp per liter) . I like being the underdog. I love imports.

Not sure when that engine came out but the Honda S2000 I believe had a >100hp/l ratio.

B16 was first produced in 1989 1.6 liters 160 hp
F20 was first produced in 1999 2.0 liters 240 hp

Both by honda ..very efficient. Also my b16 was the first engine to use a fuel efficient two stage system if you will. VTEC variable timing and electronic lift control where when driving under 5300 rpms you save fuel and over 5300 well.. one of the earlier memes on the internet search "vtec just kicked in yo"
