Just watched 'Elf' last night with the family. Might watch "Christmas vacation" tonight.
Any of you have a favorite Christmas movie?

No favorite, but my brother-in-law and sister-in-law have a tradition to watch Bing Crosby;s "White Christmas" every year on Christmas Eve. Including the one when they visited us a few years ago. I enjoyed it as a "classic".

We just watched Christmas in Conway, a Hallmark movie. It was great! Also reccomend Season of Miracles, Fallen Angel,The Christmas Blessing, and of course, the all-time classic, A Christmas Story!

I've never seen A Wonderful Life. Will have to change that some day.

Scrooge. The musical, British version, with Albert Finney. Made circa 1970, when he was young, & he played both the young and the old Scrooge with great panache. The songs are wonderful - a musical that the British DID RIGHT. And the lengthy production number at the end, after Scrooge is redeemed, is just a delight

It's a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street
A Christmas Story
Love Actually

Pretty much have to see them every year.

Heard an interview with Peter Billingsley (local radio station up here for their Mayflower Marathon). He said he was able to get a couple props from the set, the BB gun and the Bunny suit. Said he got them appraised and was told he could sell them for 6 figures.

Love Ralphie and A Christmas Story....but also have to watch Moonstruck every year. It may not seem like a Christmas movie, but if you watch the backgrounds, the stores and Lincoln Center are decorated for Christmas. A must watch movie! A holiday tradition for my husband and myself.
