Gee Whiz! 195 views………….and not a single comment. Don’t we have any superhero movie lovers out there?? Or haters??

I think the trailer is great and that “Man of Steel” is going to be the kind of Superman movie I’ve waited for since I opened my first Superman comic book. A more serious, realistic look at Superman but with lots of action!.............And BOY,….. can they make the action look real with the technology movie studios have today. Check out the flying scene where Superman takes off from the ice, after leaving the Fortress of Solitude, and puts himself in orbit. LOOKS PRETTY REAL! Check out the two cool punches at the very end of the trailer.......I wouldn't want to get hit like that!

I just remember when the first trailer came out someone on another board quipped "Wow, looks like the best season of Deadliest Catch ever."

All honestly I'm psyched for it, Iron Man 3, Kick-Ass 2 and Thor 2.

Not a lover or hater, more like an ...eh. Not my cup of tea. Never seen any Ironman, nor most of the Batman's, Thor, Hulk, etc.

Did watch a couple Spiderman's though???? Not sure why?

Sequins and a velour cape?
The trailer looks good. It just seems like we've seen this narrative so many times that it is hard to get excited about it, at least for me.

Superman’s origin story has been retold many times in comics, books, on television and in movies during the past 75 years ( it’s his 75th anniversary! ). But, I believe, this movie will take several, different, fresh approaches to that story, that will help bring in new fans and invigorate those older fans that have longed for a Superman movie worthy of the big screen and his fans world wide

I will check out the reviews and the trailers as I am always looking for summer family movies.
The quality of the supporting cast, more than anything, make me think it might be worth a look. For what it is worth the Christopher Reeves version, though dated and campy now, went a long way to bring Superman back into the public conscientiousness.

I did not know that a Kick-Ass sequel was in production. That was a surprisingly entertaining movie.

Superman for some reason has always been boring to me. So many of the super hero movies revolve around the ridiculously overwhelming angst that the hero faces. That's one of the reasons I loved Iron man and The Avengers so much. Sure there were some individual issues with each character, but they were such fun movies that it was very entertaining. Superman and Batman have always bored me.

Not sequins, more like fine scale or chain mail.

And yes. It's the origin story yet again. But that's standard fair for a reboot, they did it with The Amazing Spider-Man last year.

The problem with Superman is way too often writers trot out the Kryptonite card to make it a challenge. At least it appears in this movie they can actually have a proper slug fest.

Sort of reminds me of this fight in the last episode of Justice League Unlimited against Darkseid. Just remember Superman's little speech from here when you wonder why they can't really show what he can really do.
