One on one, probably not without fouling. Weak side help has to be there. That's handle, quickness and skill at the rim. Nice triple threat move with not enough defensive repect. That will change.

Wow, and to think he has nowhere near his peak.

While impressive - that's just terrible team defense. Capela has no chance 1-on-1 vs Drummond (not many do) but you had four other guys just standing around.

I hope he does not break the record of missing 22 free throws in a game. He is a monster

Maybe those other guys were just as much in awe of AD as we are...

At least try to take a charge, use that rat's nest hanging off your mug for something.

this was more about an amazing move my dre than it was terrible defense. The rockets are indeed terrible defensively, but what do you expect them to do? This isn't college you can't camp in the paint for the whole shot clock, and harden leaving his man to attempt to block an aeriel drummond would be irresponsible. You actual live with dre making spin moves off the dribble imo... If ilyasova wasn't stretching the floor than howard could have been in paint helping. Good iso play because of the physical mismatch and floor spacing.

This was right out of a fast break, normally Dwight would be on AD but Capela picked him up on the break and the defense didn't have time to react. +1 for Andre's BBIQ too.

Saw this last night and just laughed. I hate that he's not in a more competitive situation for his output and talent. Hopefully Detriot puts it together.

And yet he can't hit an uncontested 15-foot set shot.

Seriously, though, Dre is a BEAST. And he'll be in Storrs tomorrow night for the big game!

sick move, but the shot looked like it kind of slipped out of his hand... am I just seeing it wrong?

the release just looks odd to me... I keep on seeing the same thing. The way it hits the board isn't solid. It's like he tried to palm it but it squirted out of his hand.
