First off....Congrats to Bria for being dratfed into the WNBA.

They said she is the first female from CT to be drafted in the first round. So where did Nakeisha Sales get drafted? She was one of the best ever from CT and the articles I read didn't even mention her.

Per Wiki, she was "assigned to the Orlando Magic as part of the expansion draft".

I didn't, but I was on my bed yelling her name.

My daughter, as a freshman played against her when she was a senior in high school.

They had a huge party for her!

I was proud for what Hillhouse girls were doing during her era, just as I am for Capital Prep with Gillespie and Elmore era

What round did Rita Williams get drafted. Grew up watching her in neighborhood tournaments. But big up to Bria on an brilliant college career. Should of been a Husky she had more than enough talent to play for Uconn.
