Boston papers (Globe and Herald) are nearly apoplectic about the early season success of the Celtics (I know, 6-4 ain't much, but it's been a while) which they attribute to their unrelenting team defense. Coach Stevens's comments echo Geno. Ditto PG Marcus Smart's "D" (Moriah), Jae Crowder (Kia), or Jared Sullinger (Gabby). Geno wrote the defense gospel, Stevens appears to be a disciple, and his players are now worshipful acolytes.
