"Sometimes you have to cross when it says don't walk".

This is a new book out by Lesley Visser...a memoir about her pioneer type career in covering sports...she is a first in many areas over the years. She was recently in South Hadley, Ma for a book signing....she went to high school there. A friend got her to autograph the book. I started to skim-read it but wound up pretty much reading the whole thing....great stories. I figure anyone of a certain age...maybe over 40...will find it fascinating. Young folks without long term memories maybe not quite so much....though it is a great read if you have a teen daughter who has an interest in sports broadcasting.
I'd highly recommend checking it out....maybe request that your local library buy a copy or two?

The best sports related book on the market right now is "Bear Town" by Fredrik Bakman. You won't be disappointed.

Every basketball player and coach should read Stuff - even if you play at UConn
