Most likely to bring flask in to family section... That's fantastic, thanks @uconnphil2016 . I'm in 219, but sometimes daddy still needs a little "medicine"...

Haha I only voted for you because I see your tweets and know that you have a young kid, so i figured you may be in the family section ;)

.-.
Best Boneyard Beef (would need to nominate two members) - I'll go sportsart/whaler

Most informative poster - Bizlaw

Least informative poster - Pal
Most hopelessly optimistic poster - Mr. 13-0 Dan97

Most critical poster - freescooter

Most likely to end up in a fist fight with Bob Diaco - the hair guy

Best new poster (joined in last 12 months) - Phil's girlfriend

Best veteran poster (4+ years on the yard) - JMoney

Most conservative poster - Spartacus

Most liberal poster - Subba

The Chief00 Annual Courage Award - Jimmy Serrano for putting up with stupidity

Best on the recruiting trail (a gimmie for medic) - I guess medic?

Most likely to initiate coup d'etat to bring back Pasqualoni - weyou
The Arkeel Newsome Shifty Award (poster most likely to flip flop on opinions right before your eyes!) - Pal

The Luke Carrezola Hard Hitter Award (most likely to get in an argument on the BY) - whaler

The Bob Diaco Peace, Love and Football Award (most likely to diffuse an argument) - CTMike. He might be the nicest guy on the BY. If he hates you and calls you out, it's mostly likely you're a doosh.

Oh Jimmy is the only one who has to deal with stupidity.

Good call on the hair guy. I kinda miss him.

Blending from across a couple of the other boards as well, trying to stay football specific though:

Best Boneyard Beef (would need to nominate two members) - Whaler/Sportsart in '14 was pretty entertaining.
Most informative poster - Huskymedic/Dooley
Least informative poster - Palatine
Most hopelessly optimistic poster - Nostical/UConnDan97

Best new poster (joined in last 12 months) - Phil
Best veteran poster (4+ years on the yard) - BL, CTMike, noeynox, Serrano, Whaler (who would've seen that coming a couple of years ago?)
Most conservative poster (cesspool) - Spartacus
Most liberal poster (cesspool) - tdrink or Boba, maybe Zorro
The Chief00 Annual Courage Award - Do I even have to say it?
Best on the recruiting trail (a gimmie for medic) - Huskymedic, although props to Dynasty for the good scoops
Most likely to initiate coup d'etat to bring back Pasqualoni - Weyuo, without a doubt
The Arkeel Newsome Shifty Award (poster most likely to flip flop on opinions right before your eyes!) - Palatine
The Luke Carrezola Hard Hitter Award (most likely to get in an argument on the BY) - Serrano/Waylon
The Bob Diaco Peace, Love and Football Award (most likely to diffuse an argument) - August with the dirty hippie vibes ;)

Most Incomprehensible Poster. -- Didn't we have a guy on here who spoke his own language, using made up words and stuff. Anyone remember him?

Most Straw Men Created Poster -- Tough choice.

Um....what are you going to call these awards. Lets see The Oscars is already being used. Same with Grammys, Slammies, ESPYs, Razzies, all gone.

For The Boneyard...hmm, what should be the name of the trophy. "The Boneyards" doesn't work. Perhaps we split up the compound word to its components "The Yards" doesn't work. Hell I am out of ideas.

The - <--pretty obvious.

If you want to really get a reaction out of Sportsart, remind him that Edsall is not the greatest coach ever.

It isn't an award so much as an observation that the Football Board is light years ahead of the Basketball Board in terms of knowledge of the sport, which is weird given that we are UConn. It is weirder given that I am pretty sure that some of the posters on the basketball board played college or at least high school ball, and yet some of them, and the board as a whole, are almost completely ignorant about what is happening on the court. There are a few good posters, but they get drowned out. The two boards have always been that way, and it is disappointing because I actually like basketball a lot better but it is hard to participate in the discussion after a game because of all the idiots on that board.

Most likely to fire off drunk posts after a loss
Most likely to express their sorrow on the BY after a loss
Most likely to get kicked out of the Rent for taunting the opposing team's fans
I for one am personally thankful these categories have gone ignored.

Solid right here. I certainly don't like everything I read (probably because I'm more mad at the fact that I know that poster is right, but I wish they weren't), but I sure do think our football board is awesome. I usually take a little bit of a break during baseball season (I am a complete fantasy baseball geek), but check in from time to time. Some of the recruiting posts and offseason storyline posts are spot on. And of course, once we hit training camp and the football board gets cranking again, it's the first site I sign into every morning. love it. @Kgun7 's "Pivotal Play" series each week might be my favorite read during football season. We need to invest in some top-notch film equipment for him one of these years so he can dissect every game's pivotal play and bring it to life here. Some awesome conversation and analysis all year for sure.
