I think he said he's retiring in 3(?) years... any thoughts he retires sooner?

Hate to be a d**k (can't help it though ) but who cares. Sick of this big build up for a cheater to return who's coached 2,000 games with a ton of talent and one title. !

Said it all. Who cares on this board!

Come now, he's a great source of amusement. The college basketball world will be missing someone who knows how to dig deep and comeback with an armful of gold when Boeheim retires.

He can't retire yet, he has to make up those games that will get taken away from him.

Imagine if Boeheim hadn't rented Carmelo for that one season.

Tyler Olander has twice as many national championships as Jim Boeheim.

Of course he had a dig about the lost W in his post game presser. What a idiot he is, used to be able to accept him for who he was now just can't stand the man and he's so undeserving of mention with K, Knight, Wooden, Rupp, Calhoun etc etc.....

I think he is forced to retire when his contract is up, due to his latest MASSIVE cheating scandal.

I don't remember ESPN massaging any other coach this way post-suspension. His poor players could have not contact with him! Think of the children! Nobody gave a rat's ass when JC had his suspension and our innocent players had to miss a post=season. What a load of ACC crap.

Not even sure they allowed him to talk to Laurie or Bernie Fine and his "children."

Cuse will likely fold up when he leaves, Hobbs does not appear to be a very good Coach and they are slowly slipping to the bottom of the ACC cesspool.

He didn't just do his time and shut up, there was a lot of bleating, crying and sympathy from his coach and media friends. Funny thing is that at 0-4 their fanbase and team is not panicked because of the opportunities in their league ahead. Were we sitting 0-4 it's Dr. Kervorkian time in the AAC.

As long as his players are allowed to "talk" to Laurie it's all good ;)
No, that would pretty much be anything but good.

More like "He can't retire yet, there is a few more years of pain that can be inflicted on the Syracuse fanbase"
