I got invited by my work to attend a Bob Hurley Sr. coaching clinic in New Canaan. I guess he is bringing along some of his current and former players. I can't seem to find a list anywhere of his notbale former players, any chance you guys know a few names off the top of your head?

Obviously his son is one of them. I think RoShown McLeod went there. The beauty of his coaching is that he wins a lot without D1 guys.

He had his son Bobby, Terry Dehere, Rodrick Rhodes and Jerry Walker on the same team, which just doesn't seem fair.

I hate dook but his son was a star college player. He had a few others, he is considered one of the better coaches.

I could be wrong but I don't think any of his players have gone to UConn

I'd be shocked if Hurley has put less than 100 kids in D-1 programs. That team from a few years back with Woodall, Taylor, Rosario etc. where Cheek was a scrub had six or seven alone. It's a shitbox little school but they get players there.

to be fair, he doesn't produce a ton of top tier talent. D1 yes, but UConn shouldn't be sour that we've never gotten a kid from St. A's.

100 kids to 1A and no Huskies. Don't let him into the state.
But he does use a rebounded drill "used by Calhoun at Connecticut" as per the book Miracle at St. Anthony's.

Is that book worth reading?

Eh, not so much. It's a very dry telling of what should be a pretty interesting story.
