Wow! It's already been almost a decade, since we lost Bo Diddley. And then Chuck and Fats were taken away in this past year.
But this is not an In Memoriam thread, but a celebration of the last of the Big 4, who began life as colored boys and turned into monuments. Of course I speak of Little Richard, the baby of the group, who turns a vigorous 85 today.
Now Mt; Rushmore is already taken, but I hope someday someone with commandeer a mountain for this exalted foursome who helped today's geezers make it through their early years.
So let's gather 'round. Lucille, over here please. Miss Ann, get him a chair. Long Tall Sally, grab Uncle John and come over. Sue and Daisy, light those candles. Jenny Jenny, start the singing...
