Great Seasonal Story:
I know 2014 saw its share of buzzer beaters and daggers, some even leading to significant wins.
But I submit Michigan's Austin Hatch's recent basket as the miracle basket of 2014. The kid survived two plane crashes, the first killing his mom and siblings. The second his father and his 2nd wife. He may have no direct family left.
His basket therefore wasn't supposed to happen, as he could have sulked, and been depressed the rest of his life (without blame). His basket makes all other things 'basketball' seem stupid (except of course the therapy part) and more importantly made him smile.
