A few years ago I bought a box of stuff at an auction because there was one thing in the box I wanted. Also in the box was a book with the name, Helen Elion written on the inside. A little research, and I found she was from Connecticut.

Tens of thousands of people visit this site a month, most from Connecticut. In the off chance Helen is still alive, she might get a laugh out of seeing her Girl Scout book from 1937.

If anyone here knows Helen, or by chance one of her children, please let me know. I'll mail it to them.

Elion beach still exists in New London.
