now I may be showing my age here, but how do these guys play in low tops? I know I was asking the same thing when DD hurt his ankle earlier in the season. And I was screaming at Boat in the NC game that he should wear more support!

maybe they find that they are quicker and change directions faster with more ankle freedom. But then again that could just be blatantly false because i just made that up on the spot haha

It's just a comfort thing. Some people don't like the mids/highs.. I'm like you.. I can't play in low tops.. my ankles roll too easily

Their ankles are all taped up above the level of the shoe anyway. There's really no difference in support.
