I'm headed to Brooklyn for the first round on Friday. No Huskies in town, but I'm still looking forward to some good basketball.

This is my first time at the Barclay's Center. Anybody have any suggestions on bars/restaurants to hit between sessions?

Thanks.

My favorite in the area is Hotbird.. Has an outdoor area with a fire pit. Great draft beers. No television though and won't be busy till later though. And I like Woodwork.

You better be saving your money Wheeler. We have a lot of bbq to eat and basketball to watch in Houston in a few weeks!!!

Not sure if you're into buffalo wings but when I lived in the area, I would go to Bonnie's on 5th Ave once every couple weeks.

About a 15 minute walk from Barclays and it's nothing fancy, but it's an old school burger wing place that plays great music. Classic rock, motown.

Haven't been, but I hear smoke joint is a really good BBQ place, but I think is a little walk.

Bars: pacific standard on 4th if you like a chill craft beer place
Uncle Barry's or mcmahons for more sports bar near Barclays

I just sold my NCAA Barclays tickets. I was hoping the Huskies would get assigned.

In any case enjoy the games. There's also a German Beer Hall near by: The Koelner BierHalle
