Playing Li Na
Hard not to be sympathetic but it happens so often.

Rough on her. I wonder if it's a fitness issue - Get stronger and get injured less often? She moves well but certainly is not as fit as several of the other top players. Kvitova is another one who needs work on her fitness...

In the past, I've understood "fitness" to be a polite substitute for weight issues. Certainly not the case for Kvitova

Yeah, I don't watch tennis at all any more so I have lost track of almost all the men's and women's players. Thanks again.

Interesting you would say that. I caught the Kvitova match vs. Serena, and both Lindsey and the male announcer both said several times that Kvitova needed to work on her fitness.

I think you're correct fan; discussion on ESPN

This season, she, too, has only two titles and has been heavily scrutinized for her lack of fitness. But Kvitova finally recognizes that.
" started practice with new fitness coach after the US Open," Kvitova said after beating Angelique Kerber on Friday. "We had like 14 days of hard work, so I think that it shows on the court."

Yeah that makes sense. I wasn't referring to her weight. Not all women are going to be ripped like Kelly Faris, for example, no matter how hard they work out.
