Yes, but this is good PR for the university. UConn better watch out, this might go national, just as LSU did.

I thought UConn coaches salaries are paid from ticket sales, appearances, donations and such.

It's a really smart move by Geno if he can afford it. It changes the story. Instead of it being about the financial problems of the University, it becomes about the goodwill of the greatest women's coach in the game. It an attempt to turn a loss into a win.

I know Geno very well and he has his convictions and I respect him for that,but this, is 90% politics
