99 - the aquarium is world class http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/. I took my parents there recently they were blown away. Haven't been to the World of Coke but that's right next door and was upgraded a few years ago.
I like Stone Mountain if you have time to get out there, lots of history. http://www.stonemountainpark.com/

Tons of other options here to read up on http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g60898-Activities-Atlanta_Georgia.html

High Museum, Fernbank Museum are both nice - the Fernbank has an IMAX on it.

Great restaurants, there are tons of them... What part of town are you staying?

Too bad it wasn't season time, we could have caught up for a game over at Scote's pad!

-Yawn- not too big on Atlanta

traveled there a couple of times, didn't have a good time, but I would recommend Buckhead Diner (not exactly a diner, but you get the idea)

I'll second the Aquarium suggestion. Where is the weddding/where are you staying? Do you have a car? When does your downtime occur (day of week and time). There is a decent amount to do in many areas of town, and having access to a car or not (and when) would determine what would be a good use of your time.

That's walking distance to the aquarium, world of coke, centennial olympic park, CNN center.

It's downtown/midtown area, not a great area - Atlanta's pretty spread out. If you don't know where to go you may not like it, like rw.

If you want to splurge take a cab to Rathbun's, or Rathbun's Steak for a killer meal.

Feel free to shoot me a message if you want more recommendations or have questions.

It is great and next to Stone Mountain my favorite place to go to. They upgraded recently to include a theater. I have been 5-6 times and love it every time I go. Make sure you schedule a tour of the birth house as early in the day as possible or otherwise you will miss the best part. The aquarium is alright since they added the dolphins but it isn't anything too special besides being big. Coca-Cola is cool and don't do the CNN tour as it is a waste of money.

Restaurants I would recommend Daileys if staying downtown but I prefer Two Urban Licks(more Modern in a warehouse feel so kind of loud) or go to Ray's downtown or South City Kitchen(my favorite since it is in old house and has a modern twist of southern cuisine). Atlanta has some of the best restaurants of any city in the USA.

Just so I have some perspective, what age range are you and your wife? That would help a lot as to what you might enjoy.

Like others have said, the aquarium is cool, but in the end it is just an aquarium (but one of the better ones)

The MLK museum is truly unique, something you wouldn't be able to experience anywhere else. I use to live near freedom pkwy, so even if you just wanted to drive its awesome for sight seeing as well, bc Dr Kings actual birth home and church (Ebenezer Babtist) are easily accessible and restored very nicely as well.

The one great thing about Atl, is the restaurants, there's so much variety as well as being top notch. If your looking for something special just to Atlanta that you wouldn't find else where my suggestions would be:

Gladys Knights Chicken & Waffles
Vortex (burger joint) 2 locations, I'd recommend the original in Little Five points
Two Urban Licks (a pretty trendy spot, I'd put money on that your wife would enjoy)

There's some great comedy clubs if you were looking to stay busy towards the night as well

Someone had mentioned Stone Mountain, which is a must see (especially over the summer, when they do the light shows), also there's a stone carving much like Mt Rushmore, actually bigger that I never knew about until I went. Eventhough it's of confederate generals (being a Yankee myself) it was still a sight to see, and easy to do so using one of those cable trolleys that brings you to the top

The botanical gardens are cool as well, and probably something your wife would enjoy

Cheetahs, lol....ya you'd enjoy, not so sure about the Ms though lol i must say though for a strip club, cheetahs is very high class. Just putting it out there but if you really wanted to get a "true" sense of an Atl strip club check out Majic City, I was never aware women were able to some of the things I saw, lol....but I digress

All in all, there's a bunch to do and see here, especially in the summer where IMO the best part of living in the area is the festivals that go on almost every weekend in a different part of the city.

If you have kids with you, ya can't go wrong with Six Flags too. Hope that helped.

Not a problem man, I'm around the same age as well, so anything I mentioned would (obviously, not the strip clubs) be good for both you guys especially in the limited time yoru here, having said that keep in mind that stone mountain would end up being an all day event so I'm not sure it's practical considering the time frame your dealing with. If you want some suggestions for comedy clubs just hit me up. Enjoy the wedding bro and go huskies.
