One of the first young men I ever recruited to ND, Asaph Schwapp is gravely ill. Please share with me in praying for Ace and his family.

All State and CT Gatorade POY in 2004. Also played for Colonials.

Oh no this is terrible news. I remember seeing Asaph Schwapp play, he was as strong as a bull, cancer is such an awful disease. Prayers go out to his family and friends.

Horrible. A college coach I knew told me he was better student than fb player. So sad to hear.
 
Wow this doesnt make any sense, way to young. Thoughts and prayers go out to Asaph and his family.
 
Sad news. Seems like he was quite a young man. Reality check for me. Prayers....
 
I know someone who knew him very well. They played on all star teams together and attended various camps together growing up. He absolutely raves about Asaph. Sorry to hear this news. Very sad.
 
Very sad news. Thankfully he was able to fit so much positivity and good into his tragically short life.

Didn't know Asaph or follow his career at all but 26yo is way too young. Sounded like a good kid, RIP.
