OT: Arkansas hires Eric Musselman

Not for nothing, but Arkansas has won a national title before. Not saying they're a good program, but I wouldn't say they're a "nothing program" either. However, it definitely is not an easy place to win currently, but wouldn't say impossible.

They kind of are a nothing program. They won 25 years ago.

Its a long way from Nevada but Musselman is not dumb
He sees something in Arkansas and the school has had a history of good basketball
The SEC is getting really strong in basketball so recruiting will not be as difficult as it was 5 or more years ago.
The SEC TV network is helping
The two hottest coaching prospects both end up at SEC schools
Didn't expect them in the AAC!

Auburn made a very different decision to build a different kind of basketball program when they hired Bruce Pearl. There may be 5-10 programs in the country that would have hired that scumbag. Who knows if the NCAA will even have rules in a couple of years, but if they do, Auburn will be vacating this Final Four.
