Pro sports aren't rigged as much as they were before. Look up the stories about Tennis it was rigged in the past.

I think you give athletes too much credit. Chapman could have told Davis he was grooving one but it doesn't mean it's a guaranteed home run - see; home run derby.

"Rigged" might be taking it a bit far, but certain teams seem to get the benefit of calls more than others (Celtics, Lakers, Yankees, Patriots, Packers).

I read his book - it's beyond awful.

Yeah, there were plenty of MLB games fixed 100 years ago and there were some fixed games in the NFL 60 years ago.

Good luck fixing a major professional game in America in the 21st century.

Tim Donaghy did. Maybe not the outcome but the spread, he did time in prison as you know. That was all on him though and not the league.

I read it in like 3 hours. I was stuck at my inlaws for the holidays. I kept thinking it would move past stuff from 60 years ago and obscure soccer matches in the Latvian 3rd division but it never did.
