Ara Parseghian, Coach Who Returned Notre Dame Football to Greatness, Dies at 94

Okay, so he wimped out in the "Game of the Century" by settling for a tie against Michigan State and he suffered that terrible, crushing 2nd half defeat against USC. But I always thought he was an entirely honorable person at a time when, frankly, big-time college football was transitioning to something (often far) less than honorable.

Honorable people follow honorable people---great find, sad in his death,
Saying thanks seems heartless---

I thought he was a good coach. He won championships and was one of the best at ND.

The only things I can say is I thought he was a great coach and a Class Act.
