Not yet, but flickering like crazy. Savoring the last of it.

Been out in Glastonbury for past 4 hours. Had to sit in my car to charge phone. Not confident it will come on any time soon!

We have it in Fairfield, but relatives are out in Stamford, Hebron and Scarsdale

Could you post your address so all of us without power could visit and take showers, charge our phones, cook a hot meal, etc.?

.-.
Still power here in my neighborhood in Manchester, but tree branches are cracking and falling like crazy...just a matter of time.

A fart knocks out power in Cheshire, so needless to say its been gone for hours. Running a generator to keep the furnace on.

Was flipping channels and NBC 4 in NY was talking about the power outages all over Farmington Valley. Which is weird since it's not in their viewing area, they hardly ever talk about non-Fairfield county CT.

40% of CLP customers per their website out. Miracle it's still on here in East Hampton. We went 8 days for Irene.

I want to know who the one person in East Granby that still has power is. Lucky bastard.

Lost power for over 3 hours in Bridgeport... We're back up and running... Thank God....

Everybody around me in west Hartford seems to be out, but I live in a magic bubble. the neighbor's old oak in the front yard is taking a beating, it must have lost 1/3 of its branches.

North of the Parkway, off of the Ridges.
I've been fortunate so far (for the first time since I bought the house 3 1/2 years ago) as we still have power and I'm just south of the parkway off Long Ridge.

I'm amazed that people lost power here and I wasn't one of them.

Ha, same here... we're in the lucky 22% of town.

Up to 53% of CLP customers. Looks like the entire northern half of the state is dark. The wind has picked up here in the last hour - I need to get up at 6 to do the driveway to get to the Giants game.... hopefully everyone gets turned on faster than after Irene.

.-.
they are right. no power in Avon. Only access to world is cell phone. this is how they live in places like Egypt.

I'm south of High Ridge and we haven't lost power

Went to bed with power, woke up without. Sigh.

The weather is mirroring the events at UConn. One storm after another.

680,000 without power. 150 cell towers down. It appears the problem is greater than after Irene, but the damage is the inverse statewide to Irene, with the shoreline coming out ok in this storm.

You just need to be quiet. ( grin)

100% of West Hartford is without power and ATT is down so no phone internet. I'm visiting family in Colchester for showers, laundry, etc

Fireplace and living room sleep tonight and then hotel for the duration. Gotta sneak a cat in also. Not sure which hotel yet though we might end up in Norwich due to lack of options close by.

How do Omish folks live?

This really sucks.
