OT: Alabama vs Notre Dame, WHO YA GOT?

I hope Alabama kicks the **** out of Notre Dame. I'll probably be flipping channels though.

This is by far the worst year for college football quality in several seasons. This is the worst of Saban's NC Alabama teams. Basically they cannot defend the pass or a mobile QB. Fortunately for them, they only faced one team all year that has that kind of offense. ND is pretty much the perfect matchup for them, something similar to LSU but with less speed and a better defnesive front. Game comes down to specials and one or two plays. Probably a 13-10 or 16-13 win for Bama.

I don't Agree about quality being way down, but I think your game analysis is spot on.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those games where ND people look back and say "If". As in "If we would have gotten a touchdown there instead of a field goal" or "If we would have recovered that fumble".

I don't think Alabama is going to run away and hide but I think it will be along the lines of 21-10, 24-10 or so. One of those deals where they control the game but ND hangs around the neighborhood.

I hope its roll tide tonight but I'm gonna go with ND. Kelly is just as good a coach as Saban and will have his team prepared ND offense has played better as the season has gone along. Bama has a better team on paper but ND has more experience. ND is the hotter team. If we were to have a playoff in college football A&M or Stanford would win it all in my opinion. I predict the score to be 21-17 ND. Btw there are some NFL openings for Kelly I think he leaves either this year or next year for the NFL.

Bama, ND let a lot of really crappy teams hang in the whole game. They are a missed field goal from the Pitt kicker from playing in the Orange Bowl. Pitt was laughably bad.

Anyone who thought ND was anywhere near Alabama was either an ND fan, on drugs or did not watch college football this season. There is a reason they were ranked 1 but a 10 point dog tonight.
