What they are doing is remarkable. Experience, skill, talent and a Ring. Miami is in school right now. I think they can do this!

I'm a Knicks fan but have always kind of liked and respected the C's and I absolutely love this group. On paper the Heat should have won this series without a doubt just like they should have beaten the Mavs last year. Toughness, teamwork and a will to win is what both the Celts and Mavs had/have and the Heat know nothing about. KG has been a beast, Rondo is great, "The Truth" after a tough shooting night hit the biggest shot of the night, Ray Ray is still a bit off but you just knew he would knock down the clutch ft's and lastly Doc Rivers is making Spoelstra his b*tch. So impressed with the Celts and the Heat are what I knew they were.

The Celtics are very, very old until the playoffs start....and then they're not.

It's remarkable.

I won't bury the Heat until they are actually dead.

I'm writing the Heat off which means they will probably win.

I thought the Heat cracked the Pacers in the third quarter of the fourth game and basically won the series there - I wonder if the Celtics didn't crack the Heat in the third quarter tonight.

I'll be honest. I was just glad that the Celtics made the playoffs considering their horrific start. If they get to the finals, they will have overachieved so much I could care less the end result. I felt the same way about the Pats this year...but the Celts are just blowing away all expectations I had for them this year. Age and injuries...and now they're up 3-2 on the Miami Heat.

If the Heat lose, Spoelstra is gone. No question about it.

Considering they had the third best record in the NBA after the All-Star break, they are not overachieving.

Going into the season, ask any Boston sports fan what they thought the chances of the Celtics going to the finals were. I guarantee you it is in the single digits.

There's just no ego involved. They just want to win. Their bench has been remarkable in this series. Pietrus was a headcase for the Warriors. Now they've got him on the same page which I thought could never happen! This is a fun team to watch. They never seem to give up. I'm hoping it ends in Boston. I do not want the Celtics to have to go back to Miami!

I'm with you on that but at least now we know that they can win in Miami.

Gotta love the Celts. They sacrifice for the sake of the team. They don't panic and stick to their game plan. Miami have superior youth and testerone and none of them need Viagra, but the Celts have HEART and a much better coach. Spolstra is a good guy and really a decent coach, but in the pros knowledge of managing egos is more important. Even today Vegas picks them 4th and a 2 point underdog to close it out Thursday. When will they learn?

During a timeout, Pietrus wasn't in the huddle (or standing outside of it) and Garnett basically pulled him into the huddle a few times. Great display of veteran leadership.

How anybody could not love Garnett is beyond me. Guy is a warrior with a unique skill set and a motor that belies his age.

People hate Garnett because he's got an ego the size of the universe. But unlike LeBron James, he never declared moving his talents to the South Beach :p

In all seriousness though, Garnett is a fantastic player, one of the best. I think people hate him because they think he's a dirty player. He gets into player's heads...but that's all part of the game anyways...nothing dirty about it. People who think it's dirty just can't admit that he's really good at that part of the game too.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with Vegas making the Celts the favorites to win at home. In fact, I hope the spread widens in the next few hours! Better the underdog.

It's going to be a battle Thursday. I will be pulling like crazy for Ray and the Celts but it will be very tough. The NBA has a vested interest in prolonging series and in promoting superstars, so don't expect any favorable calls for the Celts at home

In your dreams. Melo's fine as long as he gets his.

I hope the Celts pay very close attention to the first half of the Spurs-Thunder game.
