Fortunate for her that she's not an American, as the media coverage this 16 year old would be getting might be enough to get her mind off her game. Then again, it's amazing that she does not receive more media coverage. She is truly a phenom.

Her consistency is amazing...for a golfer at any age much less a teen. I heard on the telecast that Judy Rankin [a knowledgable soul if there ever was one] say that she would be shocked if Lydia is not a pro heading into 2014. We have seen teen prodigies underachieve in recent years...I hope Lydia and her family keep a firm grip on matters such as schedule, sponsorships and Lydia's maturing on and off the course. Boonton may be on to something....it may be an asset to her development and longevity that she is not an American.
