What a day. Wake Forest falls to Iona, Pitt loses to Hawaii and Clemson goes down to mighty Gardner-Webb.
But, you know, East Carolina is funny.

East Carolina is like Memphis. I predicted that Memphis would be good in football very quickly on this board several times. Now they are much better. These southern schools will do whatever it takes. ECU will probably be good in basketball soon.

We always have to do it the hard way. Why we can't take the UL/Memphis approach and take more marginal students that are great athletes, at least until we get a P5 bid, I'll never know.
