OT: A Song In Your Top Ten

I first heard this late one night on a progressive radio station in Colorado back in the 70's.
The group is a German jazz band by the name of Guru Guru. If you like rhythmic, pulsating, harmonic jazz, give a listen. :D

My very favorite version of this song. 10,000 Maniacs did a nice cover of this song with Mary Ramsey as the vocalist.


Sandy Denny was one of all time favorite female vocalists. Great voice and unique styling. Tragic death too soon. :(

Old and in The Way was a group formed back in the 70's consisting of Jerry Garcia, Johnny Hartford, Peter Rowan, David Grisman and one or 2 others IIRC.

They put out a few albums back then with some tasty folk/acoustic/bluegrass tunes, one of which has always been a fav:
