Let me get this straight.

An armored truck filled with gold bars has a "mechanical failure" on I-95 in North Carolina and a second truck full of men just happen to come across the broken down truck. They have materials to tie the hands of the armored truck guys and march them in to the woods before making off with the gold.

Sounds reasonable to me. Call the insurance company and get the claim paid. Paperwork filled out and claim paid out in 3-4 days max.

In this case, I have no belief that this was all coincidence. definite inside job,

4 million in gold being guarded by 2 guys who make 40 bucks an hour? So, figure a 12 hour drive down the coast, and the total compensation for the guards was about, what? 1,000 dollars?

2 guys getting paid 1,000 bucks to drive a truck with 4 million in gold that apparently isn't secure enough to resist the intrusion of "3 masked guys" on the side of the highway.

What? Isn't that truck supposed to be 1/2 inch plate steel with small holes for gun barrels to protrude out of?

Anybody else see the problem here?

Reeks of an inside job. Gold is virtually completely fencible at close to full value. You kick back 100,000 grand (2.5%) to the insider and you're still set for a very long time.

Insurance rates going up.

You guys are honestly blaming Jesus for this?
