I heard he grew to 7’3 after committing to Purdue. He’s also much thinner than Edey or Clingan.

this guy was a 3 star late bloomer who wasn't even 7 feet when he committed to purdue. he has more outside skills than your typical 7 foot 3 center and will play totally differently from Edey. gotta give painter his props if he works out.

Similar story to Edey: three-star recruit commits to Purdue and soon after, he gets a growth spurt and stock rises.

Jacobsen visited Georgetown, Wisconsin, Clemson, Minnesota and Providence before visiting Purdue, so it’s not like the top squads were lining up for him.

However, I do like Painter and the way Purdue builds programs, so I wish him good luck. Decent chance he’ll start at some point this season.
