OT - 2015 Coaching Carousel

It really is amazing that defensive coaches are not getting hired as HC.

Here is what I worry about...Diaco is going to run the most un-s e xy program in football. Even his defense is boring...bend don't break. No blitzing. Diaco may be a better DC than Don Brown, but Brown's D was fun to watch. Combining bend don't break D with a run oriented offense...and this team will not be exciting. The only way this team will be exciting will be to run those boring schemes and win many games.

I believe that WM knows that fans need to see an exciting product on the field...let's hope between WM and BD they look around and see all these offensive coaches getting hired and they realize that this team MUST show an offensive game in 2015. I am not sure if Cummings is the guy to deliver that...but WMs and BDs reputation is on the line on how this team looks in 2015.

If they go 5-7 or 6-6 and are boring as hell to watch...that may not be good enough. Winning games 10-7 over Temple isn't going to win the fans back. Going 5-7 or 6-6 and winning games with an exciting offense and aggressive defense WOULD win fans over. Beating Temple 37-31 would be fun to watch and would give fans good entertainment and hope for the future.

The program is desperate and style points matter. Let's hope the AD and HC understand that.
Wins are fun to watch and an offense begins and ends with the big uglies in the trenches.

@RapSheet: #49ers announced Jim Harbaugh is no longer their coach & “is now free to consider his next coaching opportunity without any constraints.”

If UM -the B1G East Head Coaches = Harbaugh, Dantonio, Meyer, Franklin...

Doug Marrone opts out of Bills contract usat.ly/1zxUoLT

>>Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone opted out of his contract on Wednesday, the team announced.

"We are disappointed that Coach Marrone will no longer be an important part of our organization," Bills owner Terry Pegula said in a statement. "We thank him for all of his hard work and leadership during his tenure and wish him and his family the best with the next chapter in their lives.

Wednesday marked the deadline for Marrone to opt out of the remaining two years on his contract. He still will receive the $4 million salary due to him in 2015 with no offset against another salary should he accept another coaching job, the Democrat and Chronicle reported.<<

What a sweet deal. He's got coaching momentum following a solid turnaround for the Bills and will pocket $4 million just to walk away.

Niners promoted from within; but, it's not their DC, Vic Fangio, who has been know to challenge SF leadership; but, instead Jim Tomsula, their DL coach. Scrating my head on this one as it would be like UConn naming Doug Folye as the new Head cach last year as the reward for being the last man standing. Fangio is likely gone as a result, which sucks and their OC has already left taking the same role under Ryan in Buffalo. The Niners OC hire will be key. Hoping it is a good move; but, not going to hold my breath.
