Last year (11/11/11) you told me that we have one last similar historic date. Well this is it for our lifetime and our great great grandchildren and their great great grandchildren and their...................

Its probably not that important but my lifetime started pre-PC, watching man walk on the moon, playing outdoors when young, black and white TV, 10 cent pay phones, dating girls (really dating), etc..... and this just marks another milestone.

Good day to change the oil, turn mattresses or do something that you won't have to write down the date.

Anyway I am going to write a lot today so I will never have to worry about remembering the date I wrote it. I am starting with this post.

Have a happy 12/12/12 because this is it for a thousand years! :)

I never understand any of the date numerology hype. These are arbitrary symbols to mark time. There is not a cosmic slot machine that spits out $12 bills when three twelves come up. Why is the date different than getting excited every day when its 1:11pm (and 11.11 seconds)?

Do you realize every date is a historical date?

Wasn't it 12/12/12 a hundred years ago?

Yesterday was the only 12/11/12 of our lifetime.

Yeah but getting older and the days numbered you think about some mundane/obscure shtt. Can't help it, I just need a game fix.

Happy Birthday!, and yeah, 40 was a bitch. 50 was easier, and 60 was a breeze.

In the distance we here 12/21/12 screaming, "Hey, i have the same digits!!! I'm the last solstice of the year 2012 and I'm the arbitrary end of a calendar of a conquered civilization!!!!"

I'm with you though. What if the Bible (more importantly, scientific anthropologists) has it wrong and Christ was actually born in 3 B.C.? The last arbitrary numerically significant date was really three years ago!!!

Lastly 12/12/12 does not contain the same digits. We learned from the Y2K fiasco that we MUST include 4 digit years. How conveniently we forget the -0- (as in 12/12/2012). As such, the last numerically significant date was Ground Hog Day in 2002.

(I can't believe I just wasted 7 minutes on that  ).

As for 12/21/12...I plan on raping and pillaging the town of Chester. When I am done I will pray for the end of time.

I pinched myself at 12/12/12, 12:12. Still here. But the Fed did do some quasi-imaginary BS at that time.
