OT — Pharoah Sanders dead at 81

Occasionally lurking these days. But I thought I would pass this on to my friends in the know. An absolute giant of modern jazz and beyond. Incredibly inventive and productive. A terrible loss.

Sad to hear. This post was the first I heard of it. I was up until now, unaware of the music sub board on the Boneyard. I agree it is a big loss. Thank you for sharing. I hate it when I find out about stuff like this after the fact. It always makes me feel extra sad. The worst was when I found out Chris Whitley died about 5 years too late.
