Concussions are both very poorly understood by the people that actually study them, and very much misunderstood by people that don't study them.

Sounds like he has had multiple concussions going back to his high school days. Until very recently there was very little attention paid to this at the high school level...and guys went back way too soon. The long term effects can be devastating.

Damn, but he should stay in school and get his degree.

Didn't his Dad say that he would be back in January to finish his degree?
