Orlovsky officially cut by Colts

He would be a solid pickup as a backup for any team. Has starting experience, not a locker room disruption. I would not be surprised to see a team scoop him up to be the # 3 this year.

I hope Dan Orvlosky can catch on somewhere but that might not happen unless someone gets injured

What new rules?

Teams only have to designate 2 QB's now and not 3. So a team can put in a 3rd QB during the game at anytime without losing the use of the other 2 QBs (before, if you put your 3rd string guy in before the 4th quarter, you couldn't use the other 2 QBs in the game anymore). This will help the athletic running QBs get into the game without having to use a RB to run the wildcat. Dan O doesn't fit this profile.
