One correction - they are just Ducks. Same as the men. Equally important as the men's team, and lately, much better. That "lady" stuff doesn't fly on this side of the Rocky mountains, because the women's teams are equally important to the men's

After the S16 held chalk with all #1s and #2s advancing, the elite eight is proving that the two most questionable #1 seeds were indeed questionable. I wonder how Louisville would have done as the #1 seed in Oregon and MsSt as the 2 in Albany.

So much for the committee trying to dis Uconn!

Ionescu won NPOY today, if people had not cast their vote yet. Runs the pick and roll like a pro., deep range , etc... WNBA execs are licking their lips. If your team needs a PG, you shoudbe looking to trade up for the #1 pick.

Well the prognosticators were correct about louisville being the first number one out if only by few hours.

It did seem to boil down to who was playing their best at the end. Many teams were generally equal. Actually Uconn getting a two in Albany turned out really well for them. What seemed like the toughest bracket turned our as relatively easy. Louisville was not playing well at all. They also did not shoot well against Oregon St. but Oregon St was just shooting worse.

Happy for Oregon but even more happy not to see those long eyelashes and tough looking body tattoos.

As usual, the cream* always rises to the top!!! ;)

*Cream is a dairy product composed of the higher-butterfat layer skimmed from the top of milk before homogenization.

The Aces' (with the #1 pick in this year's WNBA draft) head coach and general manager "trader" Bill Laimbeer's phone is ring now. Laimbeer has expressed his need/want for a BIG (McCowan/Brown), however, he may entertain a trade offer he can't refuse, like a veteran BIG that is productive and can still play, and then sweeten the pot by throwing in their 1st round draft choice. :D
