I had mentioned in another thread where I had seen them play at the end of last season and they looked quite good and returned everyone.

Lets see if they can hold on for the win.

UNC at the line but i think this one may be over.

Hamblin was the difference.

Watching the game on ESPN3.

Just felt like from the tip that UNC was not expecting a game from them.
 
Ore st has been up double digit the whole 2nd half. On the road.
They vault into my top 6 after tonight.
 
I had them in my top 10 all season and I picked them to win the PAC12.

Should be some really good conference races this season.
 
By the way, Oregon State shot 7-28 from beyond the arc. Usually they shoot much better. instead of a 15 point win, it could have been a 25 point (or more) blowout...

Previous best win this year had been over BYU in their #300 rated schedule, so big step up for Beavers. Last year they got their first Tourney win since 1995 and first appearance since 1996, so things may be developing for them.
 
I saw them last year against Cal. Oregon State is a good team. I also pick them to win the Pac 12.
 
I had speculated that maybe they were overrated because of their weak schedule, but this is a great win.

The way things are going for Tennessee lately, I think they are the favorite to win that game.

I also picked them, on the forum, to win the Pac12, They play the best team ball in the Pac 12.
They also only lose one player after this year, Allie Gibson.

I went to a game last season at OSU when they beat USC. After the game as Hamblin was leaving the court someone shouted to Hamblin congrats on your Double Double. She replied "I didnt have a Double Double, but that didnt matter. The only thing that mattered was that the "Team" won." I love players with attitudes like that.
 
Great Win for Oregon State, especially on UNC's home court. As others have said, the PAC12 should be an interesting this year.
 
The Beavs seem to be the real deal this year. Let's hope they continue their trend and stomp Tennessee in a week or so.
 
There center looked like your Dolson setting picks then breaking back down for some neat
passes. Would love for our coach P to see how a center with in a good system should be used.

They throttled Stanford in Hawaii.... they also beat Okie State. Though they are ranked... the jury is still out on how good Okie State really is
 
Look at how difficult it was for us last year getting past BYU in the Regionals- who had a big athletic center and a Gd coach. Sounds like this team has a lot more than BYU did last year.
