Darn, looks like they'll break 50. Man, did we school them. What completely awesome defense. Everyone talks about the pace of our offense. But the pace of our defense was incredible. Old School, Old School, Old School.

A big round of applause for Oregon State. They have come a long way from 6 years ago. They are tough, gritty and very well coached.

Hear hear. This has been such a treat to see their success this year. Rueck and his players are just such quality people. It really shows in their interviews.

Butler has the potential .. Needs the weight room in the off season.

Agreed. I remember that Dolson had that one off-season where she worked out to the Insanity videos and completely remade her self. Natalie won't become a Stephanie Dolson, but she could become a significant factor.

Feel bad for KLS , not to be able to play tuesday.
Lou will come back more determined next year... Lets hope that its not a recurring injury, or an injury that will bother her alot

Better a bone in her foot than her ankle. Broken ankles take years to reach your former self and sometimes you're never the same again.

I know it's heresy to criticize Geno, but why in the world are ANY starters in with 4 1/2 minutes left ina 33 point game?
That's how you teach your players to never not play hard

Geno confirms... Broken foot for Lou. Now it's going to be Gabby and Phee time.
The Tuesday night opponent will see this as an opportunity to pack it in and force UConn to beat them from outside. Moriah becomes key - her ability to sink the three and create turnovers and easy baskets becomes more important.

Maybe this is why Geno had Natalie in so relatively early: he wants to be assured of length with Lou out. Not that they are interchangeable, but that's the thing he can prepare for in the last minutes of this game.

Maybe Gabby wiĺ shoot a few 3s. She seems to have the 15 footers down pretty well.

Nice gritty win but what a drag losing Lou.

In the second quarter she grabbed a rebound, spun around and made a shot... but hurt her foot on the spin :(

Just to give folks something to complain about :)

The KLS injury is more what I had in mind when I asked. Freaky things can happen at any time, so why risk having any frontliners have anything happen when you've got one more to play? I was asking the same thing last night during Villanova's blow-out win.
