If Gulich wouldn't have fouled out early in the 4th quarter, she could have reached double digit turnovers.

Now that this game has reached blowout status, we'll be getting a bunch of story telling from the commentators.

Much respect to rueck and Or St! Great year considering what they lost in Wiese and Hanson! I expect them to be back next year with Slocum on board and the tallest front court in WCBB next year.

If Fuehring and Durr were German they would be Führing and Dür respectively. Aber, sie sind Amerikaner!
Finally get to put my junior high German to use.

And show how dominant Louisville has been: 44-4 in their last 48 games. Let's see, UConn is 47-1...How many games has UConn won with 4 losses????

If we're ranking the remaining teams based on how impressive they've looked this weekend, I think you have to put Louisville #1. I'm not sure we're #2 either.

Actually, Mowins & Antonelli stick to the game. That four headed monster in Albany treats the game as an afterthought from the opening whistle, including the play- by- play guy Adam Amin.

Maybe but it you have to note that the only reason Oregon St was even playing today is because Kim Mulkey and Holly Warlick are terrible coaches.

I have to wonder if Jeff Walz told his players, after losing to UConn, "Now that's how you play defense." Today the Louisville defense was very "UConn-like" in their coverage. Hey, if you want to play like the best, you have to play the best. Get the message, Kim Mulkey?

I know Geno says he'll play anyone but I'm not so sure UConn wants to schedule Baylor in the next few seasons...........they have so much talent coming in I'm not sure that Kim can screw it up.....

Shout out to all the Boneyard contributors for your respect and support of Oregon State & their coaching staff. Also shout out to Louisville--a very solid performance, and, a tough out for whoever plays them next.
While this one hurts, it was not unexpected. This was very similar to the weekend in Los Angeles where we truly missed having a point guard who can handle the ball, penetrate, and score. That gets solved next year with Destiny Slocum. OSU exceeded all expectations after graduating so many incredible players last year. This team has a lot to look forward to in the next few years. Great experience for the young ones, and, the coaching staff. Beaver Nation is mega excited for next season. Thank you Boneyard contributors!

I am impressed with what Walz has done with his team in the tournament. I had them out early in their bracket. He has gotten his team to step up the defense a la Uconn.

I think that would be a good reason to schedule them if they're up for it, and I think Geno might agree. Not to say that he likes to lose, but he does value the utility of a regular season OOC loss. He's talked about this in the past - I think he's all but said that he wanted last year's team to lose one or more of its games in the season to help them build for the rest of the year.

Congrats to Walz and Louisville. Their consecutive throttles of the Pac-12 would score pretty high on the Richter scale. Part of what's great about watching the Huskies is that it means watching beautiful basketball. ND is watchable for that reason too. Louisville played very watchable basketball today.

Also enjoyed the handshake line--with both coaches hugging and complimenting opposing players they know. And players doing the same.

Walz now has taken Louisville to the Final Four three different times with three completely different rosters. Without comparing his doing so to the accomplishments of others, that's quite an impressive feat for a coach in his 11th year. Well done.

It is very hard for an underdog team to pull out more than 1 upset in the sweet 16 and elite 8 round. The emotional rollercoaster takes its toll and the bodies wear down.

Moot point, isn't it? Don't we play in Waco next season?
