abstaining from the vote. I think I already know how the overall voting is going to play out here at the BY!

GO BEAVS!

Tonight's game is reportedly sold out and has been for a while. Ticket sales for the return game in Corvallis Monday night were lagging behind a bit but now that is apparently sold out as well.

LOVE IT! WCBB RULES in the State of Oregon. This will help recruiting for both schools (US & International).

Who woulda thunk it, but it's become the center of Pac 12 women's hoops. This will mark the 5th straight year the regular season champ has been from the State of Oregon (ASU did share it w/ OSU 1 of those years).

Looking forward to this matchup. Haven’t seen Oregon State all season. But yes @LoTrader after watching what Oregon did to Stanford last week I don’t have much confidence in Oregon losing at home but I’m sure/hopeful this will be a much better game.

Oregon St. 3 point shooting has been trending downward the last several weeks, particularly in road games. Corosdale and McWilliams have to wake up and get involved on the offensive side for OSU to have any chance. UO gets scoring from all 5 players on the court. OSU can't have only 2 or 3 players at a time doing any scoring. I honestly give OSU almost no chance tonight. The Beavs were a better team last year than this year, the Ducks are better this year than last year, and they beat OSU handily in Eugene the last time. The 11 point margin isn't indicative of the game, they were up big early and cruised to the win, OSU was never in it. I'm just hoping to avoid a 40 point embarrassment like happened to Stanford last weekend. Maybe Monday will be a different story, but the Beavs need to get hot from behind the arc and have some other things go their way.

This is a series i will be tuning in to see. I think each may win at home. Records and rankings don’t matter in this match up.

Go Beavers !!!

I believe that means nearly 22,000 fans total for both games (12,364 for Oregon and 9,604 for Oregon State)-- likely the highest attendance of any two games in the Pac 12 this year and maybe an all time record for rivalry games in the conference. I realize these aren't quite South Carolina numbers, but they are very good indeed--for both teams, for the Pac 12, and for wbb overall. And I suspect it won't change much in the future.

I was looking at various stats last night. I believe Pivec is 4 points shy of 1000, she should hit that mark tonight.

Just the second sell out ever at Matthew Knight Arena according to the broadcasters.

Best commentary duo in the Pac-12, for my money: Ann Schatz and Mary Murphy.

Grymek made a huge impact offensively when she game in for OSU. Goodman looked good as well.

Oregon jumped out 7-2 early, I figured the rout was on. Not so fast! OSU came back to grab an 11-9 lead. Tied at 11, first media break finally came at about 3 minutes left in the quarter. Grymek off the bench early got 3 quick buckets to turn the tide.

How do you lpse a 6'8" player, Grimek on the court? How is she gassed after about 3 minutes of play?

Seriously she had like 3 wide open layups off pick and roll. Ducks better figure that one out...

Oregon goes zone D and OSU stops scoring. 18-13 after Q1. 3 point shot is off again for the Beavs. They need those to start dropping if they have any hope of hanging around.

Yikes the OSU player was confused on that shot clock buzzer. Got the offensive rebound but thought it meant end of the quarter but could have scored .

Would've been uncontested put back. That one hurt.

4 assists in the first quarter for Ionescu. Potential triple double game?

Zero points for Slocum, Pivec and Goodman. MIracle this isn't a blowout already.

It's a high quality game so far, lots of chess moves in that 1st quarter, teams feeling each other out.

The Grymek layups were a direct result of Oregon's high concern over OSU's 3-point shooters. She basically equaled her season average of 6.6 ppg in about 4 minutes of play in 1Q.

McWilliams is having her best game in quite a while. OSU finally getting a few from distance to fall. Hebard is having her way so far.

edit--OSU 3-9 behind the arc, about 4 of those misses rattled in and out
