Is this a must win? OSU has to stop the bleeding. Last 3 regular season games are very winnable, but they have to go out and actually win them.

Oregon St has too much talent and should have won a couple of the games they've lost recently. They'll win and end their FOUR game losing streak. Are they a #5 Seed or do they receive a #4 Seed to allow them to host tournament games?

Yep. For nothing other than to get their minds right again.

When Tudor missed the buzzer beater to tie it vs. Stanford

I don't doubt she looked ready to punch something, but wasn't it Slocum that missed the final shot?

Tudor got the rebound following Slocum's shot and flung it towards the rim. Not sure whether Tudor got it off prior to buzzer.

Pretty sure it was too late. I forgot about that.

16-14 Cal thru Q1. I missed most of the quarter. I'm just not sure that OSU can get out of their own way at this point in the season.

I might have to turn this one off. 18-16 4 minutes into Q2.

Well, OSU big three are 7-12, the rest scoreless. And 1 assist. And not a team designed for hero ball. The rest of the team really needs to step up.

They're not even recognizable as a Rueck coached team anymore. This season has been bizarre, has gone completely off the rails.

Well, OSU big three are 7-12, the rest scoreless. 0-4 from outside and 1 assist.

Still 1 assist at the half and the big 3 have scored all of their 25 points. 1 point lead.

edit--7 players have scored for Cal

Is Rueck's second half theory to bench the Big Three so someone else has to score? I guess it's working, and OSU is up five, but it's definitely a "no good deed goes unpunished" method. Appreciate Rueck genuinely trying to figure out his team.

He's been befuddled and perplexed much of this season. He's probably aged about 10 years. I swear I saw it way back in the first game against Cal. He benched Pivec and Slocum for a long stretch of the first half. Morris and Simmons really sparked them off the bench.

Looks like it's mostly been Maddie Washington scoring in Q3--8 points. She's a starter since the Brown injury. Much maligned, has been contributing almost nothing in recent games.

OSU has 6 assists this quarter, that's a good sign.

The Stony Brook announcers would remind us that Cal's gym is a really difficult place to come away with a win from, right @triaddukefan ?

OSU red hot this quarter 12-15, still only up 7.

Make that 13-16 81%. Pivec up to 18 and Slocum w/ 15. 52-43 thru Q3. 6-9 FTs for Cal only thing keeping this from getting blown wide open, they only shot 6-18 from the floor.

0 FT for OSU in Q3 compared to 9 for Cal. Have I ever mentioned I hate refs?

Now the Beavs working off some frustration, leading 62-43 early in Q4.

.-.
Keep doing that.... whatever works to get them wins... Give up on them again this coming Friday.

Washington is my other team so I'm probably gonna have to watch the OSU-UW game.

edit--don't worry, UW is down to 1 healthy post player, they are even more depleted than OSU
