Oregon Ducks 25-26 Different look

Ducks pull out unlikely win at Maryland for second Quad 1 win. ESPN projections shows Ducks favored in all seven remaining games except @ Washington.

Not so sure about that but would be nice to see. Massey shows about the same except with tOSU in Eugene at 58% to win. We shall see.

Great win for Oregon. The renaissance of Kelly Graves has been a compelling storyline the last couple of years. I can't think of any other coach who has been through the peaks and valleys he has. His 2019-20 Oregon Ducks played some of the prettiest basketball I've ever seen.

Good core of Sophomores in Fiso, Etute, and Cain. Outstanding guard Elise Mevius returns (injured for all season). Key contributors Ari Long, Sophia Bell, and Sarah Rambus will be seniors. Ready for D1 (so it’s been said) 6’4” Frosh Emilia Krstevski comes in along with Guard Brooklyn Haywood. Bench remains strong and experienced but guard and wing heavy. Front line is reduced to Rambus, incoming transfer Mallory Heyer, and Krstevski along with under sized Etute and seldom used senior Filipina Tilliander.

Bringing up this deeply buried thread in preparation for an after- NCAA tourney assessment of next season prospects.
Overall not displeased with Oregon season to date. 22-12; 8-10 in conference, 2-1 in B1G tourney. #24 in NET.

Games I “want back”: 2OT loss at Wisconsin, neutral court loss to Stanford, 2OT loss vs Michigan. Get it done there and you finish 25-9, 10-8. Oh well.

On to likely 8 seed in NCAA and hopefully pull out one win before falling to a #1 seed.

I like the way Oregon played this season. Hopefully they can continue to build during post season play and during the off season.
