Ouch.

Time for a new West Coast darling of the week.

ULCA
Zona
Now Oregon

Zags were somewhere in there at one point too.

I was going to post this score, but at least Zona is better than uconn, so can't make fun of them too much. Even on a day like this, zona would win with ease even playing the way they are playing vs. oregon.

That Oregon court is so crazy, they are undefeated at home

I honestly wonder how much that affects the teams, it looks like it is hard to see the lines and spacing.

It hard to watch on tv so I imagine it affects the visitors

I would kill to be 21-3, #5 in the country, with battling injuries and suspensions, and coming off a 27 point loss.

Anyone making fun of Arizona is really stupid

I agree
Zona has had some rough spots but they are 1-3 against the 4 ranked teams they have faced - hardly #5 worthiness in my eyes
what 27 point loss are you referring to?
But the record is great
INSTEAD..........................................
Let's all make fun of UConn - it makes all feel better because UConn hasn't faced any negatives all year

The Arizona AD has to put Sean Miller on notice after an embarrassing loss like that. Staff needs a shake-up pretty clearly, and his lack of postseason accomplishments screams "I don't know my Xs and Os." He's tarnishing the reputation of the great program Lute Olson built!

They're already irrelevant in March, and now they're in danger of fading out of the picture entirely. I can't believe how many of their fans are willing to settle for that.

Today against Oregon

Sean Miller is a total joke. Dude can recruit huge, but can't win in March

He should be canned and bring Few there or Jay Wright

Agree.

My OP was a comment on media vice quality of 'Zona as a team.

I mean, here's his postseason performance at Arizona (he also has an E8 and a S16 from Xavier, as a 3 and a 4 respectively):

2010 None
2011 E8 (5 seed)
2012 NIT
2013 S16 (6 seed)
2014 E8 (1 seed)
2015 E8 (2 seed)
2016 R1 (6 seed)

That's nothing to laugh at. He over-performed twice, met seed once, under-performed once, and the 1 seed in the E8 is about normal. Twice the Elite 8 Game came down to the last second (wide open 3 vs. us at the buzzer, controversial travel vs. Wisconsin in 2014). If you look at Calhoun, even if you start it at 1989:

1989 NIT
1990 E8 (1 seed)
1991 S16 (11 seed)
1992 R2 (9 seed)
1993 NIT
1994 S16 (2 seed)
1995 E8 (2 seed)
1996 S16 (1 seed)
1997 NIT
1998 E8 (2 seed)

You'd probably have been among those who said Calhoun couldn't win the big one.

He thought Matrim55 was serious, I suppose, which is his first problem...thinking someone with sports knowledge agreed with the ridiculous opinion.
