Bottom 3rd, sac fly brings in an unearned run (Moriarty error on the lead off hitter) for Louisville to make it 1-0. Kersten doing well so far.

Yarin did not make the final roster. I know he had surgery for an injury over the summer, so recovering from the surgery probably didn't help him out in fall ball.
 
Chris Jones just gave a very positive report on Mason Feole. Best case scenario seems to be having back for the Coastal Carolina tournament in the third weekend of the season. Whatever the case, UConn is not rushing him back.
 
Bottom 4th, Kersten strands two runners on base. 1-0 Louisville. 65 pitches for Kersten.
 
Bottom 5th, Pat Winkel throws out another base stealer for the second out of the inning.
 
Kersten gets out of the 5th inning. He hit 2 batters and walked 1 that inning, so a little shaky. Keep an eye on him for the 6th. Game still tied at 1.
 
Pat Winkel reaches base on an infield single, comes out of the game with an injury. Mike Chiovitti pinch runs.
 
Awww man, sounds like Louisville made a great catch. BUT UConn takes the lead.
