Opening Weekend in Georgia

Kennesaw takes out their starter for top 5... hopefully the bats come alive now. CMo leading off

Stefanski's always been a great, great fielder but kind of a light hitter. If he's going to be a good offensive threat this year that's incredible.

I don't know him personally but I watched Pallisco play a ton in Cal Ripken when he was young. His New Milford team was a heated rival of my younger brother's team. He was big back then and threw hard, but always balked when he tried to pick off at first. Think he's had an arm surgery or two since then, as well. Had power too back then, but was strikeout prone. Obviously it's been 8-10 years since then but I am pleasantly surprised to see him on our roster because I didn't think he'd develop enough at the plate to be this good as a hitter. Would've thought his future was on the mound back then.

5-3 entering top 7. Just gonna have to string some hits together and maybe get some guys on base before going deep.

Dandeneau relieved Cate after the 2 run homer, struck out his man to end the 6th. CJ is back on for the 7th. He's had some good stretches of pitching in the past for the Huskies.

Bottom 7th, Dandeneau walks one batter, gets the rest out. UConn trails 5-3 going into the top of the 8th.

One out in the 7th, Christian Fedko gets a double, his first hit of his UConn career in his first at bat.

Chris Jones says that Randy Polonia is supposed to be back able to pitch for the spring break trip.
