I had a friend from Long Island back in the 1960's who regularly used that phrase so maybe a NY origin?this post inspired me to look up when the phrase "f-bomb" entered the lexicon. miriam-webster says it was 1988, popularized by gary carter, of all people. dr. dre was in n.w.a. at the time.
